Below are ways you can get loans using your mobile money account in Ghana.

1. MTN Mobile Money QwikLoan

If you are an active MTN Mobile Money user, you can easily apply for a short term loan by using the QWIKLOAN service on your mobile phone.

Dial the MTN Mobile Money short code *170#, choose Financial services, Loan and select Option 1 to register and apply for loan.

If your application is successful, you will instantly receive the money into your MTN MoMo wallet.

This method of receiving loans is fast, convenient and requires no paperwork.

What you need to know about MTN QwikLoan

• You don't need any previous savings to access the loan
• You have 30 days to repay the loan
• Minimum loan is GHc 50 and maximum is GHc 1000
• You can only have one loan at a time
• You cannot apply for a new loan if you haven't paid the existing loan

2. FIDO Loans

FIDO connects people to fast and easy loans and all you have to do is apply for the instant loan on your mobile phone in simple steps, no collateral, no guarantor.

FIDO now offers loans up to GHc 4000.00 for all its users.

1. Visit your app store and download the FIDO app
2. Fill out the loan application in the FIDO app
3. Wait for some few minutes to receive your money

Vodafone Loan (Ready Loan)

Customers of Vodafone Cash can now get access to loans and additional funds. Dial *110#, select option 5 (and choose Loans for Ready Loan and Overdraft for Vodafone Overdraft) from the menu and follow the prompts.

These credit facilities are available to all Vodafone customers who are active on Vodafone network and Vodafone Cash.

3. And select Ready Loan
4. Continue by choosing Opt In to access your loan
