Get & Activate Stanbic Bank MasterCard MoneyWallet Multi-Currency in Ghana

The MasterCard is also contactless meaning you can use it for contactless payments.

How to Get Stanbic Bank MasterCard MoneyWallet Card

1. Visit a Stanbic Bank branch and request for a Stanbic Bank MasterCard MoneyWallet card

2. You will be given a form to fill out your personal details

3. You will need an ID (National ID) to complete the process

4. Enter your name, address, security details

5. The MasterCard is free and you will need to make an initial deposit. Ghana Cedi is no longer accepted as initial deposit. You will have to load in a foreign currency

6. You will be handed your Stanbic Bank MasterCard MoneyWallet card, make sure to sign the back

Now, peel the PIN tab on the paper document given to reveal the PIN.

Activate Stanbic Bank MasterCard MoneyWallet

1. Visit Stanbic Bank MasterCard MoneyWallet webpage at www.stanbicbank.com.gh/moneywallet or download the MoneyWallet app (recommended)

2 Click on the Register button at the top of the page to register

3. Fill in your card details. Enter the first 6 and last 4 digits of the number found on the front of your card.

4. Create a password

5. Confirm password and click Register

That's it, your card is activated.

You will be charged 2% fee (minimum USD 15) whenever you load your MasterCard.

Local online and POS transactions are free. Local withdrawal fee is GHC 20.00.
